From April to mid May this guided/instructional 4-5 hr trip offers Southern Ontario’s best whitewater kayaking & canoeing. Dare this spraying flume ride: rush past forested bluffs and towering cliffs, swirl around limestone rockeries at Devil’s Cave, then pour over mini-sets of rapids to the Great Divide. Here the river splits and the fun begins. On the right is a rushing section where kayaks can test their fleetness. And just when you think you’ve experienced the most exhilarating part, you go on to encounter water slides, standing waves and “back-wash” pools; all in an exhilerating three-kilometer section. A perfect place to practice what you have learned – it’s a kayakers playground! And it doesn’t end there. You then enter into the mighty Grand River. The final descent is the 100-meter dash through the High Level Rapids. But more than a whitewater route, the Nith is a river with mysterious history and captivating rare Carolinian Forest full of wildlife from Otters to Osprey.

Includes a riverside campfire lunch @ $10/person.  a Fresh wrap choice of: Roast beef, chicken, chicken Caesar, tuna, Veggie, etc. cookies, juice, bottled water

What To Bring: nylon jacket, fleece or wool sweater. hat, footwear that can get wet. Dress in synthetic fabrics, avoid cotton.  Lanyard for eyeglasses & a sense of Adventure.
